1. Immediate processing
The sweat left in the jersey after exercise, if not cleaned in time, will lead to the growth of bacteria and cause certain corrosiveness to the fabric. Therefore, the cleaning cycle for cycling clothing should be "after each use". If it is too late to wash it in time, at least put it in a ventilated place to dry to prevent sweat from staying for a long time.
2. Wash and wear again
Cycling clothes that are not cleaned in time, sweat and mud, etc. stay in it, which is easy to breed bacteria. Especially the "bacterial culture medium" of cycling pant liners.
3. Cleaning method
a. mild lotion
Use warm water at most. Use a mild detergent with as few additives as possible. If you don't sweat a lot, you can even do not use detergent, just soak it in water and rub it lightly. Do not use softeners, dye-based lotions, or enzymatic lotions, which can deform the spandex.
b. Hand wash as much as possible
Do not violently wash the riding clothes and trousers, try hand washing to prevent damage to the fabric surface and fibers. Do not spin dry after washing. If you have to machine wash, you need to zip it up and machine wash it with a bag on the back, preferably a laundry bag with a skeleton.
c. Deodorization
Use isopropyl alcohol and white vinegar for effective odor removal and antibacterial properties. Spray 70% isopropyl alcohol on your jersey and let it air dry. Diluted white vinegar can be used to saturate clothing, but it will leave behind the sour smell of white vinegar.
d. Cool and dry
Most of the cycling clothes are made of quick-drying fabrics, which can be naturally air-dried in a ventilated place, and do not expose to the sun.
e. Separate cleaning
Since there is a lot of sweat and dirt on the jersey, try to wash it separately. If you have other items such as cycling gloves with stickers, try not to wash them with the jersey - the stickers may scratch the jersey fabric.
